School Rules

  • It is mandatory for all students to bring the almanac to school every day.
  • The student should affix his/her photograph fill in the required information duly signed by the parents.in the space provided for the almanac.
  • Students should report back to school within 8 working days at the beginning of new session. Failing which the name will be struck of the school rules.
  • School timings and the timetable must be followed strictly late comers will not be allowed.
  • Students who come to school by their own conveyance should arrive school five minutes before the bell rings. The ringing of the bell in the morning is signal for the student to assemble immediately in perfect silence. As soon as they get back to their classes, they should get their books ready for the first period.
  • The school uniform only in prescribed school colour, should be immaculate, clean and smart and should be worn on all working days and school function. In winters school blazer is compulsory. Action will be taken against students who are habitually improperly dressed. Boys should have trimmed hair and girls should either cut their hair short/neatly tie in the braids. The school does not permit girls students to wear kajal in the eyes and body piercing done by boys.
  • Sikh students need to wear either black or white patka. Students not wearing Patka will not be allowed to enter the school.
  • Name ,class ,section and admission no. must be clearly marked on all the belongings of students.
  • Special care must be taken of all school property. Do not litter and use the garbage bins. Do not scratch or spoil desks, chairs and charts or damage school furniture. Do not write or draw anything on the wall or damage things belongings of others.
  • Damage or breakage done even accidentally should be reported to the class teacher. The students will be required to pay for any damage to school property. The school reserves the right to suspend/expel student whose conduct is harmful to other students or to the school.
  • The school strictly prohibits any public display of affection. Appropriate action will be taken in case of any violation of the same. Display of violence in any form inside or outside the school is strictly prohibited.
  • Students are not allowed to use the school telephone without the permission of the Principal. They will not be called answer phone calls during school hours.
  • Students are not permitted to leave the school premises during the school hours without prior permission of the principal.
  • Students must move in orderly manner while they are moving from one place to another in the school premises.
  • Students are not allowed to carry mobile phone, valuable items or gadgets inside the school premises if it is found during search it will be confiscated and strict disciplinary action be taken.
  • Students are allowed to use the school canteen during break time only.
  • Note down all your homework/circular/notice in the almanac regularly and get it checked from the parents.
  • Misbehaviour inside the school premises or in the school conveyance may also lead to disciplinary action against the concerned student. Objectionable behaviours, discourtesy and disrespect to the teachers and peer’s disobedience and irregular attendance will also lead to strict disciplinary action.
  • The school reserves the right to dismiss or to take disciplinary action against the school students whose performance in studies is unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to any student.
  • Habitual late comers, uniform defaulters, fee defaulters and students who avoid doing homework regularly will be sent home after three warnings.
  • Student should behave politely wherever they go as they are the ambassadors of Lingaya’s. They should maintain high standards in their gesture and behaviour. They are expected to be respectful and courteous. English speaking is mandatory for all within the premises. Bullying and using obscene language is prohibited and indictable as per school rules.
